Travel Log: Póvoa de Varzim

Hi painters!

This is Paulo and Luísa after some refreshing mini vacations. We grabbed a bunch of funny close friends and we escaped to Póvoa de Varzim, which is a charming beachy city, perfect to spread some love, summer vibes and sunny laughs.

In these three days, five senses experience: we smelled the revitalizing scent of the sea, we tasted the yummi local treats, we felt the golden brown sands under our feet, we saw some breath taking landscapes (such as a picturesque lighthouse) and we heard a mix of sounds (the sound of the immense sea and the happy noise that came from the joy of all the summer lovers).

When we were not taking selfies and pictures (which was not that much) we had an amazing 3 wheel experience. We rent some tricycle (yeah, summer vehicles for loose adults). C’mon guys, it’s mega mega funny and it’s good for your body. We say yes to outdoor sports, even more if it is under a heart warmer sun.

We also strolled….a lot. We ate…a lot. We partied…a lot. And we relaxed at the beach, although it was not as much as I wished (Paulo talking) because Luisa just don’t like beach days (“it’s true”, Luisa talking).

Try Póvoa de Varzim, try Portugal. Take this piece of advice and enjoy. You’ll totaly love it. We did. For us is a “TO REPEAT” adventure. It’s not very far from Porto center. You just need to take the subway. Take the Póvoa de Varzim one at Trindade station. When you return let us know if you liked it as much as we did. Send us your pics and we will post them as a “Reader mini vay cay”. Until there remember: be you, be sassy, be in Póvoa, the 2015 summer hot spot.
