First time in conventions?

Never been in a convention? Worry not! Today I’ll show you how is feels like to IMG_20141011_221649participate and be in one.

Last saturday I went to an anime convention called Iberanime, a rather big convention here in Portugal about anime, gaming and japanese culture. It’s a two-day event and it has so.many.people.there.

In this type of convention, you’ll find tons of people very open minded, I might say. There’s a lot of respect, 0 judgement and even friendships tend to start quite easily – everyone wants to enjoy and have fun. You also need to free yourself from stress and think like there’s no tomorrow (seriously), so you can participate in every activity – you have contests, workshops, concerts and even group dances. It’s hard to get bored.

Overall, I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend this type of events to people who like to experience new things and learn more about other cultures (in this case, the japanese one).
